2. Will I always receive exactly the quantity I order? We usually ship you slightly higher quantities than you order. However, on rare occasions, there are freak accidents that happen during post-press which create can create an underage in the number of pieces shipped to you. The printing industry generally allows for a 5% plus/minus in quantities received. Keep this general rule in mind when your order requires an accurate count (mailing or distribution purposes). >> BACK TO TOP
3. Shipping Services Our online shipping prices are valid within the continental United States. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may be a bit more expensive. We are also able to accommodate for international orders. We also work with trucking lines and can arrange for freight delivery for extremely large (and heavy) orders at a reasonable price. >> BACK TO TOP
4. What about privacy and security? No information we collect for order processing or from inquiries is shared with any other company or website. Your information is only used to contact you when necessary. Credit Card information is only used to bill you for products and services ordered.
Our secure shopping cart uses the latest secure server technology. Your order is submitted and retrieved with a secure connection to our server and remains secure at all times.
Most experts consider that ordering securely on the internet is as safe or safer than giving your information over the phone or to stores. 5. What is your phone number and what times can I call you? Our phone number is 562.907.4100 or 877.WET.INK7 Toll Free. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm PST. We are open on Saturdays by appointment for pick-ups or deliveries. >> BACK TO TOP
6. How can I get a receipt for the order that I placed? An email receipt will be sent to you upon confirmation of every order placed through the website. We will mail you an invoice or receipt for any custom printed jobs. >> BACK TO TOP
7. I’m unhappy with the way my job printed out. Who can I contact to have this issues looked at? Please mail us some samples of the work so we can determine what the problem is. Please send only some samples, not the entire order. Include your order number, a brief description of the problem and we’ll investigate your inquiry and determine the best course of action. Many times the poor print quality that you perceive has to do with the image quality that we received in the original artwork. If it’s found to be a manufacturing defect, we will be happy to reprint your job. >> BACK TO TOP
8. Why does my printed product look different than the proof that I saw online? Because of the RGB to CMYK conversion process, your printed materials (CMYK) will not match the image proof on your monitor (RGB). The printed piece will reflect the CMYK values that you designed the image in. Some scientific reasoning why this happens:
Not all RGB or PMS spot colors will convert exactly, because the color spectrum of 4-color process printing (CMYK) is different than that of the RGB and PMS spot colors. Below is a graphical representation of the different spectrums. The "web" looking spectrum is the process spectrum, the "triangle" represents the RGB spectrum, and the rest is the visual spectrum that our eyes can see in nature. PMS spot colors also have their own unique shape inside the visual spectrum. What this all means is starting with a color in one spectrum and trying to move it to a different spectrum does not always work.

9. What resolution do my files need to be? The files that you submit should be a minimum of 300 dpi, CMYK. >> BACK TO TOP
10. What should I do if I want a full bleed on my order? Your artwork must be at least 1/8 inch (.125) larger on each side from the cut line, or order size, to have a proper bleed. Please make sure that your type (text) is an 1/16 inch away from the cut line to prevent accidental cropping. Example: If your order is a ¼ page (4.25 x 5.5) postcard, the file that you send to us would have to measure 4.5" x 5.75" for it to print properly to the edge of the card. You can also use our ready-made templates to assist you with your design work. >> BACK TO TOP
11. How do I submit my artwork or photos for printing? What type of programs or files do you accept? You can either use our website, visit us, or send us your file burned on a CD via "snail mail". See our Digital File Guidelines section for more detailed instructions for accepted file formats. >> BACK TO TOP
12. I’m a print broker or reseller. How do I set up an account so that I don’t have to pay sales tax? Do I get special pricing? The first thing youll have to do is contact us and submit a resellers permit via fax or mail so that we can arrange for your sales tax exemption. Because of our already extremely low pricing, we do not have standard broker prices. However, well be glad to work with you on high-volume orders. Do keep in mind that from time to time, we will offer special promotions for just our brokers and resellers. We accommodate print shops, resellers, print brokers, club promoters, or anyone who thinks they qualify for wholesale pricing! >> BACK TO TOP
13. Why 14pt Cast Coated C2S Cardstock with AQ gloss coating is better than normal cardstock with UV coating? 1. Cast-coated paper stock has a higher quality, ultra-smooth finish - more professional looking.
2. AQ is water based and does not smell like UV coating (fumes).
3. AQ is NON-toxic and environmentally friendly.
4. You can write on AQ coating, while it is near impossible to write on UV coated materials (even with a permanent marker!).
5. Our Cast-Coated paper stock with High Gloss AQ still has a similar gloss to UV, but much nicer!
6. Everybody else has UV coated cards...you want something better and different, but not more expensive! Try us out!
Still Confused? We’ll break it down for you...
"Premium Quality" paper is the highest quality paper stock sold. It is above Grade 1 paper stock. Our Premium Cast-Coated paper is a 94 extra bright white paper, giving your artwork more contrast and brilliance. The cast-coated paper is cast through chromium drums to produce a mirror smooth finish onto the surface of the paper, resulting in a unique surface that is flat, ultra smooth and glossy. If you compare a printed piece on normal cardstock + UV coating, to a printed piece on our Premium Cast-Coated C2S Cardstock + AQ, you will see that the 2 pieces will look very similar in terms of "shine" or "gloss," but the Cast-Coated piece will have a much cleaner image, more contrast and all around

14. What kind of paper do you use? We stock 3 main types of paper in various sizes: 100# Gloss Book (Topkote), 100# Gloss Cover/10pt C2S, 14pt Cast-Coated C2S High Gloss(Kromekoteplus). We also stock many other types of paper, and can also order any kind of paper that you may require for your custom print job. All Premium Postcards are printed 4/4 on 14pt Premium Quality, Brilliant White, High Gloss, Cast-Coated C2S cardstock with AQ Gloss Coating. Economy postcards are printed on 10pt C2S Grade 1 cardstock with AQ Gloss Coating. Catalogs & Brochures are printed 4/4 on 100# Gloss Book with AQ Gloss Coating. 15. What type of equipment do you use? Our goal is to produce a top quality product both quickly and efficiently. Our workflow is entirely digital, minimizing the time and expense wasted in the traditional print shop. We utilize two 40-inch Heidelberg Speedmasters, a 6-color press, as well as 4-color press. We also have a few digital presses and a few 2-color presses to service smaller jobs. >> BACK TO TOP
16. What’s your in-house turnaround? Our standard turnaround time is on average 3-5 business days upon your proof approval for custom print jobs. Gang run jobs can sometimes take up to 5-7 business days during busy periods. Some items, like bound or folded material require extra post-press time. Many times, under optimal conditions, next day jobs can be accomplished, but not guaranteed. Please call us or contact us before placing your order for details. Free business card orders have a turnaround time of 3-4 weeks, but often times can be delivered sooner. >> BACK TO TOP
17. What’s your refund policy? We here at Wet Ink Printing strive to build and maintain great customer relationships. All inquiries for refunds or credits on custom print orders placed over the phone or in person will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. All internet orders have a NO REFUND policy. Please be careful when placing your orders NOT to click "submit" twice, or place your order twice, unless you intend to do so.
